Experience the magic of farm life with a unique birthday celebration at Cardinale Farms. In the heart of Howell, NJ, our farm offers a hands-on, educational, and fun-filled experience your child and their guests will never forget.

Hands-On Team

Each birthday party will have a host and assistant with your guests. Parties last for two hours and we have availability for both indoor and outdoor settings. We welcome you to bring your cake, and party favor giveaways for your guests. We ask guests to wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing. Please ensure you advise the party coordinator about any food or animal allergies. Hand washing stations are located in multiple areas on the farm.


What is included in your party

  • Visit our interactive animal therapy stations. See our goats, mini pigs, bunnies, chickens, cows, horses and more.

  • Complimentary grain bag to feed the animals.

  • Enjoy our playground area with ziplines.

  • Tractor pulled Hay Wagon Ride.

  • Bring your own food, cake and beverages.

 

Price: $500 up to 15 children included in contract price. Add up to 5 more children @ $15 each per child. Total capacity is 20 children per birthday party.
 


Pricing & Add-ons

  • Parties are $500 for a two-hour timeslot (includes up to 15 children). Add up to additional 5 children for $15.00 per child for up a total of 20 children maximum. If parents stay for the party, they will be charged $5.00 per person as they will be part of the farm experience.

  • Your date is not secured until a non-refundable deposit of 50% is received.

  • Optional Add-on Farm Train Ride: $50.00

  • Optional Add-on Bounce House $100.00

  • Optional Add-on Pony Rides $75.00

  • Optional Add-on Private Cuddles Sessions $50.00

  • Optional Add-on Grain bags to feed the animals $2.50 per bag.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

How long is a birthday party?
Parties last 2 hours.

Can I extend parties past two hours?
No, parties are carefully timed to allow for all other farm activities.

What is the schedule for parties?
Guests arrive at the designated time. Parties begin 10 minutes after start time no matter how many guests have arrived. In advance, the host will decide the starting point for visiting the animals, hayride, playground and other activities.  These farm activities take approximately 1 hour. After activities are complete, guests wash hands and food is served. After 1 hour and 50 minutes, we begin to clean the room and guests exit to parking lot to clear space for the next party.

Can parties be modified or adapted to fit our group?

How many guests are included in the price of a party?
1 to 15 children and up to 15 adults. Additional children are $15 each and adults are $5 each. There is no discount for less than 15 children. Limit of 25 children total (over the age of 1).

What ages are included?
Anyone who participates in the party is included in the count.

Is the farm closed during my party?
No, this is a working farm and other events may be going on during your party. Your party will have a reserved area for you and your guests.

What happens if it rains?
Parties will happen rain or shine. Rain modifications for parties will incorporate visits from the animals in our indoor setting, allowing for the children to interact with the animals and feed them.  A covered wagon ride will take the children around the farm.  
 

Can I set a rain date in advance?
No, rain dates cannot be scheduled in advance. Parties will happen rain or shine, all deposits are non-refundable.  We will do what we can to work with you based on schedule and availability.

What are your party locations?
Birthday parties will be held outdoors in our woodland and farm areas. Food will be served at our picnic area and/or at our indoor birthday room during inclement weather.

When is the Deposit due?
Your date and time is not confirmed until a 50% deposit is received and is due at booking.

Are balloons, confetti and piñatas allowed?
You can bring ballons but you must take them with you when you leave.  No confetti or piñatas are permitted as these items and materials are dangerous to our animals.

Is alcohol allowed?
No, we are not insured for alcohol consumption on our farm.

Is smoking allowed?
No, we are a completely smoke-free facility including our parking lot.

Can I drive my car down below to set up?
No, we will drive you and your belongings down in our golf cart transporter. We will also drive your gifts and belongings back to the parking lot at the end of the party.

How early can I arrive to set up?
Fifteen minutes before the start of your party.

Do you provide hand sanitizer and bathrooms?
Yes, we provide hand sanitizer, hand washing stations and portable toilets for our guests.

Do you provide refrigeration?
We can store up to a full sheet cake or ice cream cake in our refrigerator.
 

Do you allow music?
Yes, we allow guests to bring a designed playlist that we can project through our Sonos System.

When is final head count due?
The final head count is due two days prior to your party.

Are there additional activities I can add to my child's party?
Yes, please speak with our party coordinator for more information.

Can I speak to someone ahead of time?
Once a party is booked with a deposit, our party coordinator will call you a few days before your event with final numbers and to answer your questions. If you have a question, you need answered, please send us an email at cardinalefarms@gmail.com

What are the safety rules?
There is no running in or around the animals. Helmets must be worn for pony rides. Children must wear closed-toed shoes to go in with the animals. Entering the horse barn is prohibited.

What direction do I give my guests?
Have your guests arrive on time and park in our parking lot.  The host will great all guests and bring them to the party area.

Is a cooler provided?
We can provide a cooler for drinks, but you need to bring your own ice and beverages.

Seating?
There are a number of picnic tables and we can arrange for them to be together to have all of the children in the same area.  There will be an added table available for gifts.

Can I reserve two time slots?
Yes, you can reserve two time slots at the rate of a second party package.
